Twogaa Sunday Post – 4.7.19 (The Nut That Won’t Crack)

Submitted by Diana Roberts on April 7, 2019

Mathew 28:19: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Mathew 28:19-20 King James Version (KJV): Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and the Holy Ghost:

Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the world.

Acts 1:2: until the day he was taken up, after he had given commands through the Holy Spirit to the apostles whom he had chosen.

Acts 1:8: But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.

Colossians: 1:23 if indeed you continue in the faith, stable and steadfast, not shifting from the hope of the gospel that you heard, which has been proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, became a minister.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech; or of the press; or of the right of the people to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

This is “the nut that won’t crack.” New Testament scripture goes on to say that you must be baptized to be a Christian and to enter the kingdom of heaven, and that if you are not, bad things will happen to you. The Scripture also says that once baptized you must follow all of the mandates of the Father and the Son, as above.

Taking into account that over 95% of Congressmen and Senators and their staffs are Christian, and six of the twelve Supreme Court Justices are Catholic and two are Protestant fundamentalists, while the President and his is staff follow the lead of Pentecostal Christian teachings, it is impossible to see how there will not be continued undermining of the separation of church and state, or more specifically, of the Christian religion imposing its beliefs through federal and state government policies and codification.
