The Observer welcomes My West Texas(http://www.mywesttexas.com) to The Observer blog.
Through 40-plus years of law practice, raising money for oil companies and consulting in international business, I observed some fascinating and unique people. As I write novels about some of these people, their lives and events that I was involved in with them. I share snippets of stories on my “The Observer” blog.
Welcome! I hope you enjoy these stories and return often to read them or comment on them. You can access The Observer through the My West Texas blog section or my web page, http://www.glenaaron.com. Soon, at the web page, we shall be offering a free e-book for signing up for automatic post notifications. It’s just a quick and easy way to see if you want to read that day’s story.
Currently, on The Observer, I write about Jackie Bancroft Spencer Morgan, the 72-year old “Wall Street Journal” heiress of Ruidoso, New Mexico, who married the 50-year old gay interior decorator, Ron Morgan. I have written a novel about that saga: “Observer: The Ronnie Lee and Jackie Bancroft Spencer Morgan Story, a tale of people, greed, envy, manipulation — even crime”.
I also write about Colonel George Trofimoff, a man I knew well and spent a year with. The weekly blog stories give insight to this complicated man. My novel about him and his life and the trial that ruined his life is: “Observer: The Colonel George Trofimoff Story, the tale of America’s highest ranked military officer convicted of spying”.
Again, welcome to the My West Texas viewers. I think you will enjoy reading and commenting on The Observer.
